Alicen draws upon 25 years of experience to address the needs of individuals, groups, professional trainees and those tasked with management of treatment facilities. Her private practice services include individual psychotherapy sessions, case consultations and program development.
Following your initial consultation with Alicen, she can provide recommendations and more detail as to specific needs, services and timing.
Alicen integrates a deep mindfulness approach, informed by eastern philosophy, meditation practice, yoga, dance/creative arts therapy, family life with her husband and two children, and a belief that healing trauma can give us direct access to spiritual expansion.
She draws on the SE, DARe & PACT Models in her practice to address the neurological/physiological underpinnings of pre-verbal and/or sub-psychological attachment trauma. This understanding is instrumental in treating adults, advocating for children and helping care providers and educators understand how to attend in a way that brings about nervous system re-regulation.
